Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness and Poverty
While the demand for services for the homeless and needy has never been higher, it has also never been easier to meet this vital need in our community. A couple local Bennington High School students have decided to organize a local community effort to help the homeless and near-homeless in the Heartland.
Bennington School District will be conducting a Coat/ Toy drive for this holiday season. Please bring any coats/ gloves/ hats/ toys that you don’t use anymore or donate new ones if possible? We will have donation boxes available and (located where you want to designate) for you to drop off your donation from now until Dec. 21st. We then will deliver the donations to the Open Door Mission for them to distribute to those in need this holiday season. Thank you in advance for your generosity and wishing everyone a great holiday season!!
