Meet Your Child's Educators!

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I would like to welcome you all to join us this Thursday, September 24, from 6-9pm for our annual Parent Open House. This year we have opted to go virtual in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Our first priority is, and always will be, the health and safety of our faculty, staff, students and families of the Troy City School District.

There are a few things I would like to inform you of to help you with this process. We will maintain the same format as in years past and you will follow your child’s schedule to meet their teachers. You can access your child’s schedule in the Parent and Student Portals.

Each of your child's teachers will send you a link via email so you may enter their classrooms at the designated schedule time. We will follow the “A” Day schedule - each class will be 10 minutes in length with 5 minutes allotted to move from virtual class to virtual class. Please see the attached bell schedule below to help navigate through the night.

This is an opportunity to meet the people spending time with your children every day. Teachers will give you a brief overview of what it is like in their classrooms and outline their expectations for this school year. We kindly ask that you reserve the discussion of student progress for our first Parent-Teacher Conference on the evening of November 19th and the afternoon of November 20th.
