Dear Everitt families,
It was a lovely week at Everitt. We enjoyed having recess on the north side of the building and the additional space for our soccer, football, basketball, and four square games. We're so grateful to Wheat Ridge High School for allowing us to use their space and to Dave, our Facilities Manager, and his team for being willing to take on a little extra work to allow us more space to play.
Next week, we will be starting CMAS testing. The schedule for the week is below. Please ensure that your children have fully charged Chromebooks on Monday morning when they arrive at school. They will need to get plenty of sleep and eat a good breakfast either at home or at school each day. If you would like to opt your child out of testing, please send me an email as soon as possible so that we can make appropriate arrangements for our students.
See below for information from our counselors about how your child can request the electives that they would like next year if they haven't done so already. If your child would like to serve as a teacher's assistant next year, they will need to complete the application in this newsletter for a chance to be selected. We are starting to make schedules for next year and would like to know each student's preferences as we do so.
We are looking forward to a wonderful ukulele and choir concert this evening at Wheat Ridge High School. Ukulele students will perform at 5:30 and choir students will perform at 7:00.
Thank you for supporting and believing in your neighborhood school. It is our privilege to partner with you!
