Opportunity for a student with the City Parks Department. We are looking for a student representative on the Windjammer Park Improvement Focus Group. It's 2-4 months beginning next week if available. It's a great opportunity in local governance. The commitment would be a few evenings from 6 to 8 p.m., a couple Saturdays, and some activities during the school day that will not affect classes. Specifically, during the day they will hand out QR codes to get students to take a 10 minute survey on what they want in the parks. We are looking for a student of any age that has access to transportation and an interest in city parks. See Mrs. Kellison for details.
