Dear Boggess Bengals,
This has been a great week at Boggess! We were so happy to welcome parents back to campus during lunch. We look forward to having our Watchdog Dads back on campus soon as well.
Students viewed videos of our 5th Grade Student Council candidates this week. Votes were cast today. We look forward to congratulating our new Student Council Officers on Monday.
December 6th- 9th all students in Kinder-2nd will take middle of the year MAP assessments in Reading and Math. Students in grades 3rd -5th will take Reading, Math , and Science. Some grade levels may take the Language Assessment as well. Please check grade level communication for specific details.
For the month of December, we encourage our students and community to show compassion (empathy + action) by donating a pair of new unused socks for the "Socks for the Sole" drive. Donations can be placed in the box in front of the library. All donated items will be shared with area non-profit organizations that support the Plano homeless community. See flier below for more details.
We would like to thank Mr. Blaine and the choirs from McMillen for visiting our campus today. They were amazing! A huge thank you for being flexible. The students and staff enjoyed the caroling and song selections. It is always wonderful to see former Bengals. Please scroll below to enjoy photos.

Parents,
As we gear up for College, Career, & Military Readiness Week in January (January 17-21st), I am asking for your help!! I would LOVE for the students to be able to see parents on our CCMR video. I am asking that parents send me a short 1-2 minute video explaining their career! Ideally, we would showcase a variety of careers, both college-based and non-college based!
If you are able to do this project, please email me the video at jamie.wells@pisd.edu BY January 7th at the latest.
I truly appreciate all you do for our Boggess students.
