COVID-19 Concerns During Thanksgiving Break
If you have any COVID-19 related concerns during Thanksgiving break, contact Burleson Local Public Health at email@example.com.
We look forward to seeing your students back on Monday, November 30, 2020. Please review the following protocols to ensure that your student is safe to return to school.
Staff and students should not enter campuses or district buildings if any of the following apply. The individual:
Has symptoms of COVID-19 as defined by the CDC as: fever (100.4°F or higher) or chills, cough, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, sore throat, nausea or vomiting, new loss of taste or smell, congestion or runny nose, or diarrhea.
Has a confirmed case of COVID-19 or has been in close contact with a person with a confirmed case of COVID-19. These individuals must follow all isolation and quarantine guidelines from the local health authority. CDC and local public health recommend a 14-day quarantine period.
Has a household member who is awaiting COVID-19 test results, or who is awaiting their own test results.
4th Six Weeks Instructional Choice
Beginning November 30th, all Burleson ISD parents who want to change from on-campus instruction to virtual instruction or from virtual instruction to on-campus instruction for the 4th six weeks can log in to Family Access and complete the “2020 - 21 Instructional Choice for 4th Six Weeks” form. Please complete this form by December 6th, for each student who you wish to switch.
If you do not know your Family Access Login/Password, you can click on the “Forgot your Login/Password?” link to have this information emailed to you. For additional help, please email ONLINEFORMS@BISDMAIL.NET for assistance.
Monday, November 23-Friday, November 27- Thanksgiving Break
Tuesday, December 8- Make-up Pictures and Virtual Student Pictures *more information to come to to schedule an appointment for virtual student pictures.
Friday, December 18- End of 3rd six weeks & End of K & 1 Quarter; This is a full school day prior to Winter Break. Winter Parties~ classroom teachers will be communicating the details. Unfortunately, visitors will not be allowed on campus.
