News and Notes for Parents at Plymouth North
Junior Prom & The Last Week for Seniors!
We're ready to give them their final exams, sing their praises over the next two weeks, and send them off at a uplifting commencement ceremony where they take that first step into the world as high school graduates. It will be a whirlwind two weeks, but it will be fun!
For the rest of our Eagles... there is still quite a bit to think about. MCAS, Exams, Underclassmen Awards, and the spring sports push to major victories are still to come!
LOTS to be excited for at Plymouth North High School! It's a GREAT time to be an Eagle!

1. Class Time @ PNHS
Mr. Odell's students took to the roof (don't worry... they were safe!) to understand how the PNHS Solar Panels work and to measure how much energy they produce every day.
Dr. Farren is empowering her students by giving them opportunities to show their learning via Artifact Boxes, Book Club Mini-Lessons & Poetry Day "teach outs"!

Senior Final Exams are Monday through Thursday this week! The countdown is real!
3. Lifetouch Graduation Photo Information
Feel free to register in order to be notified when event images and proofs are available for purchase at our lifetouch graduation website at the link below.
Complimentary proof sets will be mailed home within 14 business days.
Please do not set up cameras during the ceremony as they detract from others' view.
4. Math MCAS for Sophomores
Our Math MCAS testing is taking place this coming Tuesday and Wednesday, May 21st and 22nd. Testing begins right away at the start of the school day, so it’s important for students to be in school and on time both days.
As I’m sure you know, passing MCAS is a graduation requirement, but also the very best scores qualify students for the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship for free tuition at Massachusetts in-state Colleges and Universities.
There is a practice test that students can take to see what the test is like, prepare for the format, and hopefully alleviate any test anxiety before Tuesday. Feel free to have your child take the practice test!
As a reminder, we serve breakfast in the cafeteria every day, so feel free to send them in early to get a great start to the day!
Thank you for all your help preparing our kids for some great results!

Gabby, Hope, Rachael & Brenna will compete in the NATIONAL competition in Kentucky in June! Congratulations to SkillsUSA and Ms. Drew for all their hard work!
11. Intergenerational Debate Club
Recently the COA decided to recognize Victoria, Maggie & Christian for their efforts, and provided them an award and honors for their efforts at building a bridge between the two groups in such a positive way! We are so proud of these three and the positive effect they have had on our community!
