Anderson Afternoon Update
The Revolution Begins
The "Grass Fight"
Texas troops were a little embarrassed by the fact that the silver train that they thought they were intercepting turned out to be nothing more than feed supply for the Mexican horses . Erastus Smith's scouts had previously reported that the mule train was carrying silver to pay the soldiers under the command of General Cos in San Antonio. Much to there chagrin, after a brief skirmish, Texan troops found themselves in possession of nothing more than a couple of loads of hay and grass.
