Returning Student Registration

Registration for students returning to the Hallsville School District will be held:

  • August 9th from 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • August 10th from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Returning students must complete the online registration prior to the above listed dates. Please be sure to bring the following to in-person registration:

  • Current Harrison County Tax Statement (2015)
  • Current Lease
  • Current Purchase Agreement/Contract
  • Approved Student Transfer Paperwork

**Students must be enrolled by a parent/legal guardian.

New Student Registration

Registration for students NEW to the Hallsville Independent School District will be held:

  • August 8th from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (FOR NEW STUDENTS ONLY)

Please be sure to bring the following to registration:

  • Proof of Residency Documentation: Current Harrison County Tax Statement (2015), Current Lease, Current Purchase Agreement/Contract, or Approved Student Transfer Paperwork
  • Student's Birth Certificate
  • Student's Social Security Card
  • Current Shot Records
  • Copy of Prior Year Report Card if available
**Students must be enrolled by a parent/legal guardian.

Late Registration

August 17th from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM for both NEW and RETURNING students.

Meet the Teacher

Our annual Meet the Teacher night will be held on Wednesday, August 17th from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.

Students will need to pay a $10 supply fee to assist with needed materials to enrich learning in the areas of art, math, and science. This fee may be paid at registration or on the night of Meet the Teacher.

School Hours for 2016-2017

Our times will also be adjusted for next school year because of the district adopted calendar and the new state requirement that students complete a minimum number of instructional minutes vs. a minimum number of days. Beginning in the Fall of 2016, school will begin at 7:45 a.m. and the tardy bell will ring at 8:00 a.m. Doors will open at 7:15 a.m. for students to enter the building. School will officially end at 3:15 p.m. We will dismiss Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade students for pick-up beginning at 3:15 p.m. and 3rd Grade will dismiss beginning at 3:25 p.m. Our buses will begin loading students at 3:15 p.m.

If you are cleaning out closets and find pants or shorts that you may no longer need, you can donate them to the nurse's office. We are running low on back up bottoms for students that may need a change of clothes during the school day. We could use both girl and boy bottoms in all sizes. Thank you!
