News You Can Use
My box of leggos has disappeared. If you have seen it, please let me know.
Please check google plus often. I have started a new activity called Claim It, Name It, Explain It. I will post a picture of an activity that I have seen. If it was taken in your classroom, claim it. Then tell us the name of the activity and explain it. I think it will be a neat way to share great ideas. There are at least two on there now waiting to be claimed.
Online registration. We are down to 6 kids!!!
Please do not allow the student on a computer if their name is on the list I put in your box each day. In order to save paper, I will run one copy per grade level so please share with your team. I am hoping the student will want on the computer and will give the notes I am sending home to their parents.
Gradebook:
With all students registered online, moe parents than ever before will be checking grades. Please do not wait to input grades until progress report or report card time. Grades need to be entered weekly.
Cat prints
I go this week to get the coupons I give away but please start bragging on the students now. The cat prints are in my mail box and you can get what you need. The treasure box will be put in the hall in the same place as last year. Please point it out one day on your way to lunch.
Writing samples.
I will look over these and get them back to you. This sample and the last sample will be put in the portfolio. If you have not picked up your portfolios, please do so. They are in the office.
RTI Meetings:
I will get with you this week to schedule our first meeting. Please decide with your team if you want to meet during your conference period or after school.
