CROSS COUNTRY/RUN FOR KICKS
WLNC has been running spots for the Spring Hill Run for Kicks Fundraiser! Join Spring Hill Middle School for the Spartans 2016 Run for Kicks
(all ages welcome, including strollers and wheelchairs)
OUR MISSION
To raise funds for all Spring Hill Runners in both Cross Country and Running Club to have new, proper long distance running shoes. Any surplus earned will be used to provide funding for students to participate in additional local and state 5K’s throughout the school year.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Racing events will be held on Saturday, May 21st at 9 am, with start and finish at Pate Stadium on the campus of Scotland High School.
Friday, May 20th: Packet Pickup: 8-9 am or 3-5 pm at Spring Hill Middle School
Saturday, May 21st
Late Registration and Packet Pickup: 7:30-8:30 am
One Mile Fun Run/Walk: 9 am
5K Run/Walk begins: 9:30 am
Pate Stadium/Scotland High School
Registration Fees:
One Mile
Early Spartan (before April 29th): $8.00 for all
After April 29th: $10.00 for all
Group Discount (8 or more business/church/school = $6.00 per person)
MUST have a representative register your group such as a Pastor, School Administrator, etc.
5K
Early Spartan (before April 29th): $10.00 for Students ( K-12th or valid college ID); $15 for Adults
After April 29th: $15.00 for Students (K-12th or valid college ID); $20 for Adults
Group Discount (8 or more business/church/school = $8.00 per person)
MUST have a representative register your group such as a Pastor, School Administrator, etc.
Top three finishers in each age division, as well as top three overall will receive awards. Every participant that registers by May 5th is guaranteed a special event t-shirt.

Media Center Happenings
•TECHNOLOGY ISSUES…if you have a missing charger from your cart OR an extra charger on your cart, please let Mr. Litty or Mrs. Harris know. Also, any problems with chromebook carts should be reported to Mrs. Harris so that work-orders can be done promptly. We want the chromebooks in perfect working condition before EOG’s. Thanks!
