On Thursday, March 23rd Suwanee Elementary School will be celebrating the cultures and histories that make us unique at Arts & International Night outdoor street festival. Help your child discover their heritage by encouraging them to create a flag and/or paper doll chain representing their ancestry.

Flags and paper doll chains will be proudly displayed throughout school the week of the event.

HOW TO:

1. Draw and color a flag of your ancestry on an 8.5" X 11" sheet of paper and/or decorate the attached doll chain in traditional ancestral dress. (If you have multiple backgrounds, choose one or include multiple flags/dress on one paper.)
   
2. Cut out the paper doll chain making sure to keep them linked.
   
3. On the back of the flag/doll chain be sure to include your name, grade, teacher, & country
   
4. Submit your flag and/or doll chain to your teacher by Friday, March 10.
