Random Acts of Kindness Week
Monday, February 17th!
No act of kindness is ever wasted...
It is important for us to not always focus just on ourselves. We have to put others before ourselves at times. One little act of kindness can brighten a person's day. With all of the acts of kindness, it will make the world a better place!
Examples...
1. Say "good morning" to a person standing next to you in the elevator.
2. Pay the toll for the driver behind you.
3. Take a minute to direct someone who is lost, even though you're rushing.
4. Put a coin in an expired meter.
5. Help a mother carry her baby stroller up the subway stairs, or hold a door open for her.
6. Each time you get a new item of clothing, give away something old.
7. Say "please" and "thank you"and really mean it.
8. When you're on a crowded train or bus, offer your seat to an elderly, disabled or pregnant person.

Helping the Elderly
In this picture, a man is helping an elderly woman carry her bags. This was a small act of kindness that probably brightened the woman's day.
Helping the poor
In this picture, a man is helping someone by giving them some of his water. This little act of kindness may have saved the poor man's life.
Helping a random person
In this picture, it shows someone paying a car meter that is expired. It is not theirs but they are being kind by paying it for someone.
