Monticello is built above the clouds. That is what they say. What they mean is that is Thomas Jefferson built it for. Thomas Jefferson was trying to get rid of slaves but he owned some his self so why was he trying to get rid of slaves? He was calling it the moral depravity. He only had so many acres for 200+ slaves. In conclusion Jefferson had a dark side and a light side.

Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence. Jefferson signed the Declaration of Independence as a true patriot. The most important thing that Jefferson wrote in the whole Declaration of Independence is all men are treated equally. Jefferson had to write 1,326.

Monticello

One of the buildings Thomas Jefferson built was Monticello built just for slaves. It took 40 years to build because after his wife died he didn't want to build anymore . There is a second Monticello to that he built. Thomas Jefferson built both the first Monticello was completed in 1782. As early as 1790 he started revision his country home. "A blank witch I had no spirits to fill up". Thomas Jefferson said that after his wife died.
