Spartan Connection

May 2021

Spartan Nation,

It's been a year that none of us could fathom. Dealing with COVID and mitigating student learning has been done successively by our GIANTS. Our teachers have truly stood in the gap and made the best out of some impossible situations. Our students have worked hard under circumstances not seen in education before and for that we are truly grateful. Let's finish the year STRONG and look forward to the new opportunities that lie ahead.

Stay Safe & Well

Social Justice In Action- Celebrating AAPI Month

In these complex and difficult times, justice and equity remain at the forefront of many of our minds. As we enter May, which is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we persist in our efforts to make these topics accessible to students (in all subject areas) and incorporate current events. In addition to classroom discussions around unity, social justice, and equity, there will be events taking place during May to highlight and celebrate the many different cultures encompassed under the Asian and Pacific Islander labels. These events will include the following and many will be in collaboration with Rise Up.
