Thompson's Talk
"In leadership, character is more important than strategy..."
Tuesday was probably the most fun I have ever had in a faculty meeting. I know there were procedural things to get through but then the painting was great. I enjoyed the laughter and visiting with everyone. I was amazed at everyone's artistic ability. I love our Irvin family!!!
It was great hearing this week all the great strides our kids are making especially that our kids are more prepared this year than ever before. That is a direct reflection of great teaching. Keep up the good work. Please denote in plans when working on a focus TEK so that we can see the work you are doing. I hope you have a great weekend!

One Word - INVEST - T-Kay Timmerman
Our word of the week is INVEST brought to you by T-Kay Timmerman. Her word came to her as she was thinking about her new empty nest season and a desire to use her time to make a difference. Her desire is to give encouragement and invest in building new relationships. As she has been on her One Word journey she has had special moments of seeing humility a and surprise on the faces of those she is investing when they realize she truly values them. May we all find moments to invest in the lives of those we come in contact with!

Ring the Bell!!!! by Stacee Johnson
This week was filled with many exciting moments as we collaborated on curriculum, planned for student success and dealt with all the things that pop up on a daily basis. This profession is challenging and it is easy to become overwhelmed and frustrated, but it is SO rewarding when you see those glimmers of progress. So I encourage you to press on, dig in, ask for help when you need it, and persevere. You can do this! You are here for a purpose! Let's LEAD!
