π° Scholarship available for BHS students to attend pre-college, career, recreation camps!
Berkley/Huntington Woods Youth Assistance sponsors Camp Scholarships for youth in the Berkley School District who may not be able to afford a camp experience. Our camp committee gives special care in matching kids with camp experiences that best meet their needs. Through camp, youth broaden skills, develop independence and resourcefulness, and enhance positive social interactions in fun, guided settings that promote awareness, self worth and acceptance.
Applications are given out in mid-Winter to school administrators, counselors, social workers, teachers, and directly to parents. With each completed application, parents are asked to submit copies of their most recent tax documents in order to qualify for a scholarship. Parents are able to submit applications for any, or all, of their children as long as each child lives within the Berkley School District boundaries.
