WHEN WAS THE TITANIC BUILT?
The Titanic was built on March 31, 1909, at Belfast, United Kingdom. The Titanic took about 3 years to build! The Titanic weighed about 52, 310 tons, and was 883' feet long! The designer of the Titanic was Thomas Andrews, and the builders of the Titanic was Harold Wolff.
WHEN DID THE TITANIC SINK?
The Titanic sank on April 15, 1912 at 2:20 am. The reason the Titanic sank was because, that it hit an Iceberg on the Starboard Side hull, that made water leak into the bottom part of the ship! Only 705 people survived, and 1,503 people died! The captain of the ship which was Edward John Smith, was one of the people that died on the Titanic.
WAS THE TITANIC EVER FOUND?
YES! The Titanic was found! It was found on September 1, 1985. The people that found the Titanic, was Robert D. Ballard and some other guys too. But the sad thing, is that soon the Titanic will rot away and leave a big orange stain at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
CONCLUSION TO THE TITANIC
It’s no secret that the greatest ship of all, sank in 1912 at 2:00AM. Well, we learned about when the Titanic was found, and when it sank, and when it was built. So my main point was basically about the Titanic, and that NO ONE will ever forget one of the most deadliest disaster in modern history.
