A Message from the Principal:
Dear North Parents,
It’s hard to believe, but we are almost at the end of the first semester. Next week is midterm exam week. We understand that this is a new experience for our students, and we continue to work to create a context for students to feel ready and capable. We ask that our students continue to put their best foot forward during their assessments and finish this semester strong.
This week we also began our course selection process for next year. Students received their selection sheets on Tuesday and they are due on January 26th. Please take a moment to talk with your student about their courses for next year.
We hope you enjoy this three day weekend!
Take Care,
Dr. Kathryn C. Murray

Every Tuesday from 10:30am-12:30pm, we serve pizza to our North students at First English Lutheran Church (across Vernier from North HS). The cost for the lunch is $5 for all the pizza, breadsticks and salad they can eat, plus they also get a can of pop or bottle of water. This is NOT a fundraiser. It’s just something fun that a team of parents decided to do for our wonderful kids! All of the money collected goes right back into the purchase of food, treats (on special occasions) and supplies for TMP.
Prior to Covid, this tradition had been going on for many years and the students really looked forward to it, which is why I would love to start it back up. But without volunteers, there is a possibility that we will not be able to provide this fun lunch experience for our kids.
We are in need of help!!! Depending on the number of volunteers, you might only have to help one Tuesday every 4-5 weeks! So for the entire school year, you may only have to work 6 or 7 times!
Please consider helping out so we can bring back TMP for our amazing North students! If you are not able to volunteer, but know of someone who can, please pass this information onto them! You do not need to be a current North parent to volunteer!
