Building Champions in Academics, Character, and Community

Long Range Planning

We are blessed to be in a vibrant and growing community, one of the fastest-growing districts in Texas. This creates great challenges and opportunities very few get to experience. Our Liberty Hill ISD community is witnessing the growth first hand. At the October snapshot date, LHISD's enrollment has increased by 670 over last year's snapshot. Wow!

To help LHISD plan for the future, we have formed a Long-Range Planning Committee (LRPC). This committee is charged with studying demographic projections, debt capacity, and covering urgent short term facility needs and needs into the next few years.

The pictures below are from the second meeting of the LRPC held at LHE. We had a full house for the informative School Finance & Debt Capacity presentation from CFO Rosanna Guerrero. The committee of 58 community, parent, and staff members were engaged as they asked pertinent questions that sparked valuable conversation to help this process of recommending the future facility needs of LHISD. We are so thankful for the commitment these individuals made to help plan and set the groundwork for the future growth of Liberty Hill and our schools.
