The March Staff Meeting will be on Tuesday, March 26th!
This is a mandatory staff meeting for all staff members (including paraprofessionals).
We will begin promptly at 3:50 PM in the cafeteria.
Reminders for all staff
- If you are going to be absent, you must notify your supervisor.
- All staff should be at work on time every day.
- Professional staff members (with the exception of staff who support in the morning with arrival), should not Raptor out earlier than 3:40 PM.
- Welcome students at your doorways at 7:40 AM daily.
- Plan ahead to ensure you arrive to campus before your scheduled duty begins.
- The expectation is for all staff to use it daily to sign in and sign out.
- If the Raptor system is down, we will do a manual sign in sheet where you will record your time in and out.
- You cannot Raptor in and be at your assigned duty at the same time. Campus safety is everyone's responsibility. It takes the effort from all players for our team to succeed.
- Refrain from touching students, unless they are a danger to self or others. Call an administrator if you need support.

Hearne has partnered with Phillips 66 and the Houston Astros in support of Literacy!
Phillps 66 is planning their 2019 social media campaign with the Astros on a rendition of last year’s Read the Play (see links to Facebook posts below) where school-age kids will read from a book of famous Astros plays. They would like to cast students from our partner elementary schools in Houston and Hearne was selected. They will highlight our students and the importance of literacy that the Astros and Phillips 66 are so passionate about.
Casting will begin this week and are due by March 29th.
The video shoot will take place on April 17th after school.
