Principal's Message

Greetings Carver Middle School Community!


Thank you very much and Happy Veteran's Day to all of our active duty and retired military members within the Carver community. We honor your sacrifice for our freedom. Thank you!


We have a busy week planned with Veteran's Day Assemblies scheduled for tomorrow and Core Values Assemblies scheduled for Tuesday morning.


Report cards will be distributed to students this Friday. Please expect your student to bring his/her report card home Friday evening,11/15/19. The please expect a sign up link for parent-teacher conferences to be sent out this week.

Veteran's Day Assembly

On Monday, November 11, our 8th grade band, Mr. Choate the 7th and 8th grade Chorus, and Ms. Barrus are presenting a Veteran's Day Program for all three grade levels in conjunction with the 392nd Army Band from Fort Lee. The program will be a recognition of what it means to serve and will include reflections on service as well as a power point presentation of extended family members in our Carver family.



Thank you for helping us to recognize the men and women who have served our country and defended our freedoms!!

STEM & Summit Night at Carver MS

Please join us for our monthly PTA meeting and STEM night on Monday, November 18, 2019. Our friends from Bricks 4 Kidz, Chester will join us for an engaging STEM presentation for students in the gym. Parents are asked to participate in the PTA meeting and our Summit team will be available to answer questions about the Summit Program.


We hope to see you next Monday!

Congratulations to Coach Daniels, Coach Brown & our County Champion Lady Cougars!

Thank you to everyone who was able to come out and support our Lady Cougars as they completed an undefeated season with a victory over the Bailey Bridge Lady Bears in the Chesterfield County Girl's Basketball Championship. Our girls are champions both on and off the basketball court! We are very proud of their hard work and well deserved regular season and tournament championships!

Students must have their completed physicals and signed concussion forms to tryout.

Valentine's Day Blood Drive

We are looking to host Community Blood Drive on Valentines day in 2020. This is a half day of school for students and the perfect opportunity for us to give back. Please click on this link if you are interested. We must notify the Red Cross several months before the drive with an estimated count of participants. Thanks in advance for your support!

CARVER MS WATCH D.O.G.S.

Carver Middle School is looking to launch our own WATCH D.O.G.S (Dads of Great Students) organization. This organization will be comprised of dads, grandfathers, uncles, big brothers, and any other male role models in the lives of our students. We want our WATCH D.O.G.S. to volunteer their time in our school to better enhance the learning experience for all of our students, teachers, and staff. We will take any time you have to be in our building and be an additional presence of support for our school.
