Head Lice
There has been a reported case of Head Lice in your child's classroom.
Please be comforted by the fact that Head Lice often infest clean, well-groomed hair. Would you please examine your child's hair and, if treatment is necessary, contact your Doctor or your local Pharmacy for advice.
A Fact Sheet and pamphlet on 'Prevention and Treatment of Head Lice' are also available from the School Office on request.
Obstacle-A-Thon we need your help!
It’s nearly time for our annual ‘Obstacle-A-Thon’. The Year One’s event will be held this Friday. We are raising funds to purchase hands-on numeracy & literacy equipment.
Our budding athletes will need to maneuver through 3 different stations; laps of the oval,a group game and a circuit of an obstacle course using perceptual motor equipment. It’s all fun and great for your child’s mastery of their gross motor skills.
DATE: Friday, 25 October
TIME: Commencing at 1.45pm to 2.50pm
The Obstacleathon will be held during your child’s normal school session. We need parents to assist with the event and cheer on the athletes so if available please sign up on the door. Please sponsor your child on the note attached on the door
Make sure o bring in completed sponsor sheets and money raised by Friday, to pass on to Marie McLean, Renae Pares or me.
Your generous support this year has recently allowed the purchase of $1500 worth of maths and literacy hands on resources. Thank you fr you continued support to the Year 1 community by finding sponsors and fundraising for your child.
