Principal's Corner
- We have a really great group of brand new 6th and 7th graders here this year, as well as a tremendous leaders in 8th grade to show our new folks the way.
- Our teachers are collaborating in teams to ensure all students are learning at high levels.
- All our students start the day with an advisory period to build social and emotional skills, as well as making sure they are ready to learn for the day.
- All students are able to get outside for some fresh air and movement each day (weather permitting).
- And with all this change at once, we are figuring it out!
I could go on and on with gratitudes for the year so far. For me, It is truly a joy to come to work every day, and I have no doubt that we are making a positive impact in the lives of Wilson students. What do you appreciate about Wilson? Feel free to share with me anytime at erlandsonc@manitowocpublicschools.org.
Kindness Challenge
We need your help! We are challenging all of our Wilson Middle School families and their friends to spread kindness and show empathy to one another. Each time your family spreads kindness to someone else or demonstrates empathy to another individual, let us know. Share your experience with us by responding to one or more of these questions:
- What did you do?
- How did the individual react?
- How did it make you feel?
You can share stories and photos with us through messaging us on our Facebook page @wilsonwarhawks
We will then share out your stories. Do you think we can reach 1,000 acts of kindness by Feb. 14th?
