Please visit our school or district websites for additional information regarding kindergarten registration.
Dress Code Reminder- View your child's agenda for our dress code guidelines.
As the warm weather continues, please be mindful of the school’s dress code that is listed in the student agendas. We will follow the “skin test” or “fingertip rule” described below to determine if skirts and shorts are the appropriate length. We ask for your cooperation in allowing your child to do the “skin test” when you have concerns about whether the length of the clothing is appropriate for school.
Excerpt from Student Agenda/Student Code of Conduct:
1. Shorts, skirts, etc., must be long enough so that when hands are extended by the side (skin test), the student does not touch skin.
2. Tank tops (halter tops and spaghetti straps included) are not allowed. All shirt straps must be at least the width of two fingers.
We will follow the recommendations from the District’s Code of Conduct when students to do not follow the dress code.

A Snapshot of STEAM Learning at Carver
Ms. Barrineau's First Grade Field Trip: Students learned about how Florence has changed over time by looking at fossils! They even made their own fossils by using a coffee, salt, water, and flour mixture and imprinting plastic dinosaurs and seashells into that mixture.
EdVenture Children's Museum- Mrs. Ward's Class had so much fun!
Mrs. White's kindergarten class did a service project last week in which they removed discarded toys and trash from their playground area and planted a garden. Thank you to these students and their teachers!
