Principal Message
Hi Hornets,
It amazes me how fast this school year went! It is remarkable how our students have grown. As a first-year principal, I can tell you that I have grown just as much as our students. Thank you to everyone who has supported our students, teachers, and me throughout the school year. Together we can continue making a difference in the lives and successes of our students.
I’m thrilled to announce exciting changes for the upcoming year. I believe it is important for all of our students to have access to diverse exploratory opportunities. Next year our exploratory program will expand to include Video Production, Library Science, and a Math Study Skills class. Access to these programs will help students explore and expand on their interests that may be life-changing.
As always, don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.

Athletics Message
The boys and girls track & field season had many highlights, ranging from new highs for student enrollment to unforgettable memories at the 2019 IESA State Tournament. The track & field program earned impressive victories all season long. Adalia Wallace set new school records for the 100m and 200m, and Asha Billstrand set a new long jump record with a jump of 16 feet. Asha went on to finish in the top 13 in the IESA State Tournament! This season truly exemplified what a collaborative team effort looks like.
