Staying Healthy

SES is following precautions for the Flu by cleaning and disinfecting our campus regularly. Our wonderful nurse, Mrs. Fadley, also has done handwashing training and given all classrooms a new set of handwashing rules to display by their sinks.

Please remind your children to wash their hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds. Here are additional reminders:

  • Keep children who are sick at home.
  • Teach children to cover coughs and sneezes with tissues or coughing into the inside of the elbow.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Ensure your child is up to date on all immunizations.

Thank you for helping us with keeping everyone healthy!

Read, Read, Read!

Reading at home with your child promotes their academic success! Did you know your child can take AR tests from a computer or even your cell phone? Email me if you would like your child's log in information. Hundreds of thousands of books have quizzes available on AR. Students will earn points and we will celebrate their accomplishments! This is for students in K-5.
