Leveled Literacy Intervention
Overview
This training is designed for anyone who is new to Leveled Literacy Intervention. LLI is a short-term literacy program designed to close the reading achievement gap in as little as 18–24 weeks. It is intense, focused small group instruction in reading and writing, and is a supplementary intervention program designed for young children who struggle with reading and writing.
Learning outcomes include:
- Participants will learn the components of a Leveled Literacy Intervention lesson.
- Participants will learn the structure of an LLI lesson.
- Participants will learn how to determine entry points for possible reading groups.
This is a Title I Fee For Service event. This event is offered at no cost to those districts participating in CESA 10 Title I Fee For Service. The cost for all others is $350 per participant. Invoicing for this event will be adjusted once the CESA 10 2017-18 Title I Fee For Service Agreements have been received.
