(c) collect the remaining contents of your locker, artwork, journals, etc.
When you arrive at the district office at 111 Barclay Boulevard, Lincolnshire, we will do our best to maintain safe social distancing by implementing a drive up, curbside system. In order to control traffic and maintain appropriate distancing there are specific drop off times for each family:
- 9-10 a.m. - Last Names A-E
- 10-11 a.m. - Last Names F-J
- 11-12 p.m. - Last Names K-O
- 12-1 p.m. - Last Names P-T

Please write your first and last name clearly and in large print on a piece of paper that can be viewable through your car window. If you would like a no contact drop-off and collection of items, please place items that will be dropped off in the trunk of your vehicle. Upon entering the line, open your trunk and staff will take out items you are returning and replace them with items you will be collecting.
In order to keep all staff and students safe, please do not get out of your vehicle. Staff, properly protected, will come to you. We appreciate your anticipated patience during this unusual end of year process.
Lunch Account Balances for eighth-graders will be transferred to younger siblings. If the eighth-grader has no siblings in D103, Quest will refund the balance and a check will be mailed to the student's family by July.
It’s hard to believe we are heading into the final days of remote learning and the end of the 2019-2020 school year! Please be sure to read this entire communication as it includes important end of year information.
Although the entire staff would have preferred to see you in the physical building during your last few days, the D103 PTO, teachers and administrators have planned an “Eighth-Grade Graduation Countdown” of various activities. The district will administer a survey directly to the students in grades 6-8 on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. The purpose of this survey is to obtain feedback from students on the remote learning environment. The feedback from these surveys will be used to enhance the Remote Leaning plan for the 2020-2021 school year in the event that the district must continue with remote learning in the fall. The survey has been created by an educational data analysis firm the district contracts with, no personal data will be collected by the company. Please view a copy of the ECREA survey here. If you do not want your child to participate in this survey please contact Michelle Blackley at mblackley@d103.org before Friday, May 22 at 12:00 p.m.
Finally, please note that Daniel Wright is currently an active construction site as work on the new addition is moving full steam ahead. Because of this construction, it is not safe for our students and families to visit the school. If you are unable to attend the May 29 collection and pick up of items, please reach out to Mrs. Blackley at mblackley@d103.org or Mr. Herion at therion@d103.org to arrange a time for items to be delivered to your home.
We are saddened that we can not celebrate in the traditional, in-person way that we have in the past. I am hopeful that you can positively look forward toward the next chapter in your educational career.
Wishing all of you continued good health and much success,
Mrs. Blackley
Principal of Daniel Wright
