Holland Happenings
November, 2020
Dear Families,
This six weeks has also brought us a few challenges. More students have been quarantined and more are missing classes due to the virus or school activities. Please encourage your student to attend classes and clinicals as often as they are well to do so! We are still working on skills and are on track to test. It is vitally important that students attend all classes, and in-person is the best option for our programs. Additionally, if your student must be remote, teachers need plenty of notice to prepare for your student to be remote. It is unacceptable for your student to choose to be remote AT class time. If they must be remote, please notify the teacher in advance of class. If a student tries to be remote at class start time, the teacher may not let them into the zoom because they are trying to get class started. Please make every effort to give advance notice, or your child will be counted absent. We demand a lot, but please know it's because we know the demands of the profession. Our goal remains, "to prepare quality healthcare professional today for the medical workplace tomorrow."
We have lots more this six weeks of which we hope you and your student can participate.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Seekins, Dean of Students
