The Positive Side: Snow Much to Talk About
For many, this was their first experience with snow. For others, they knew just what to do with this rare occurrence. Some of their favorite moments last week were:
Mia, 3rd Grade: I went to my best friend's house and rode in a basket down the drive way.
Rikki, 5th Grade: My two year old brother threw snow in my hair. He yelled. It was cute.Sadvita, 5th Grade: For me, it was throwing it at my brother and putting snow down his shirt.
Bonnie, 11th Grade: I got to spend a week in a hotel room doing nothing. That was pretty fun.
Penelope, Kinder: Making snow angels with my cousins Presley and Phoenix.
Avery, Kinder: Making chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry snow cones with the snow.
Naudia, Kinder: My Dad throwing me in the snow!
Sebastian, Kinder: Putting a lot of snow in my uncle's house. I got on restriction until Monday though. That was only one day. (Sorry Mom and Uncle, but this is funny!)
Mrs. Lucas, Elementary Aide: Sword fighting my husband with icicles!
Ms. Quinlan Kubacak, SPED: It brought our family together.
Mrs. Griffis, Library Director: Throwing myself into piles of snow, riding the four wheeler through the snow, taking pictures, and seeing the community come together to help each other.
