The Week Ahead

I hope everyone had a wonderful break. We get our seniors back this week and then they are off for senior trip next week. Then we have a "normal" week and follow that with Holy Week. As most of you know, these next couple of months are going to fly by.

Congratulations to Mrs. Hill and the math team as they qualified for the state math competition!

Congratulations to Anna Martin on qualifying for the all-state festival for individual speech!

The end of 3rd quarter (if we had quarters) is Wednesday. Please be sure to be communicating with students and their parents or guardians if those students are struggling in your class. Remember that email is okay, but if you do not get a response then you should make a phone call.

Have a great week!

Morning Prayer This Week

3/25 God of Love, Joseph was the husband of Mary,

and you entrusted Jesus to his care.

I am inspired by his fidelity and integrity as your self-sacrificing servant.

Allow Joseph to offer strength, courage, fidelity

and tender self-less love to all husbands.

Let this holy family renew in me the desire to be your servant,

faithful in the vocation you have given me.

May the Lord bless us, protect us from all evil and bring us to everlasting life.

Amen.

3/26 God of infinite love, I thank you for this reminder of your love

and your call that we be more patient, gentle and compassionate with others.

Here in the middle of Lent, I turn to you to beg for your help.

Please soften my heart.

Help me to let go of judging others.

I ask you this, in Jesus' name.

May the Lord bless us, protect us from all evil and bring us to everlasting life.

Amen.

3/27 God, you love me as your own child.

May I bend my life and will toward you

so that I might accept your teaching and guidance.

I am so grateful for your support in my life,

now and in the eternal life you are preparing for me.

I beg for your help and Spirit in my life today.

May the Lord bless us, protect us from all evil and bring us to everlasting life.

Amen.

3/28 Loving God,

I hear your invitation, "Come back to me"

and I am filled with such a longing to return to you.

Show me the way to return.

Lead me this day in good works I do in your name

and send your Spirit to guide me and strengthen my faith.

I ask only to feel your love in my life today.

May the Lord bless us, protect us from all evil and bring us to everlasting life.

Amen.

3/29 God who created me,

You offer me new life through your Son

and through the gift of your sacraments.

While I see new life all around me,

I don't always recognize the new life you offer me.

Help me to grow this Lent in an awareness

of the gifts you place in my life

and in a greater appreciation for your care.

Give me the courage to ask for help.

May the Lord bless us, protect us from all evil and bring us to everlasting life.

Amen.

Prayer Service & Reconciliation on Wednesday

Students should report to 1st period for attendance and then go to the gym for our prayer service. Students will be called to the gym for Reconciliation by grade following the prayer service (just like in the Fall). Please accompany your students if they all go to Reconciliation.
