PTA Fall Festival

Our PTA has been working hard for weeks to prepare for an amazing Fall Festival, which is tomorrow from 2:00-6:00. This event raises so much money for our PTA, which goes right back into Glenhope. We hope you can make it out tomorrow!

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week kicks off on Monday. Here are the themes:


Monday, October 24th

Our Future is Bright (without drugs): wear neon and sunglasses


Tuesday, October 25th

Sock it to Drugs (wear crazy socks)


Wednesday, October 26th

Don't Get Mixed Up With Drugs (wear mis-matched clothes)


Thursday, October 27th

Lights Out On Drugs (wear PJ's)


Friday, October 28th

Team Up Against Drugs (wear favorite team jersey or shirt)

Yearbook Online Ordering

Glenhope yearbooks will be sold online until the end of January. If you order your yearbook online, you have the option to have your child's name embossed on the yearbook for an additional $5! To order your yearbook online, please go to:

We will also do a standard (non-digital) yearbook order (as we've done in the past) where you can send in checks/cash. That will be later this fall.

Author Visit

We have several visiting authors coming to GHE in November! Polly Holyoke will be presenting to our 3rd - 5th graders. Pre-order forms for their books came home last week and will be due back next week. Books that were pre-ordered will be autographed by our visiting authors.

LEAD WITH GCISD

We recently received our state distinction designations based on our performance of last year's STAAR results. Out of the total 6 designations we could have received, Glenhope received ALL 6!!
