Mitten Project - Helping Doyle Families in Need

Staff and students of Doyle Elementary School will be participating in a “Giving Project” again this year. Our goal is to provide food and gifts for Doyle families who need extra support.

Starting December 2, there will be a display of colorful paper mittens on the wall inside the main entrance of Doyle. Each mitten describes a special gift for a child or adult who is a recipient of the project.

If your family would like to purchase a gift for this project, please stop in and visit Doyle to select a mitten. After you take a mitten, you should buy the gift item listed, wrap it, and attach the mitten to the gift, so that it can be distributed properly.

All donated gifts need to be brought to Doyle by

Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

If your family would rather donate a monetary gift, please make checks payable to the Doyle Elementary School Activity Account and write “Mitten Project” in the memo. This money will be used to purchase extra food items or other gifts, as needed.

Thank you for your support in making an effort to help members of our Doyle community.

If you have any questions, please call Tracy Kowalchick at 267-893-4335.

SOUP-ER Staff Luncheon

We are excited to bring back a Doyle tradition (formally known as Casserole Cooks) by making a homemade luncheon for our teachers and staff during winter conferences.

The SOUP-ER Staff Luncheon will be held this year on Thursday, December 9th from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM in the Fab Lab.

Please sign up for one (or two) slots below and drop off your homemade HOT soups or chilis in a crock pot to the Fab Lab between 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM on the day of the event.

All other dishes, drinks, desserts or other items can be dropped off or sent in with your student before 11:00 AM on December 9th.

Other details are provided in the Sign Up Genius page.

Thank you so much for your time, generosity and yummy cooking skills in making this a successful luncheon.
