Maire Newsletter: June 2, 2023
Dear Maire Families,
Today was a wonderful Field Day filled with so many fun and exciting events! A HUGE shout out to Mr. Metzger for organizing his first Maire Field Day. Also, Thank You to all of our volunteers that helped to run a station or two. We sincerely appreciate your dedication to our school community. Lastly, Thank You to our very generous PTO for the ice cold popsicles and support to make it a wonderful event! We are very lucky to have all of you as part of our team!
A few important reminders:
- If your child ordered a Maire 2022/2023 Yearbook, they will be sent home on Monday, June 5th.
- Please don't forget that our Book Fair is next week. Please reach out to your child's teacher for shopping dates.
- On Friday, June 9th is the Maire Block Party starting at 5:30! Please join us for an evening filled with families and fun!

School Supplies Made Easy
Don’t let school supplies be YOUR problem. Let them be OUR problem!
We will do your school supply shopping for you. Just submit your order on the Maire PTO website, and on the first day of school, a bag of grade-appropriate school supplies will be waiting for your student in his or her classroom!
The cost is $55.00*
Deadline for orders is June 16, 2023 (the last day of school)

1) The Maire School Store is always looking for a few helping hands on Friday mornings. Please consider volunteering. Sign-up here.
2) Do you love the Holidays? Is your Pinterest Board filled with Holiday craft ideas? Then, The Holiday Craft Fair and Market committee would be a great creative outlet for you. We are looking for someone to Chair this event and a team of elves to make the magic happen on Saturday, December 2, 2023. This Maire holiday tradition is a family favorite and just like Santa, we need to get planning early. Please contact mairewaysandmeans@gmail.com if you’re interested.

Save the Date: June 9th Young 5's and Kindergarten Pavement Performance for Parents
Our Young 5 and Kindergarten students will present a couple of tunes for parents on the morning of June 9th at 8:25am out on the pavement. Their Pavement Performance will only take a few minutes, but know that they are very excited to have their first performance at Maire. Stop by before starting your day and enjoy watching our youngest performers.
Please reach out to your child's teacher if you need additional information.
End of the Year Student Medication Pick-Up
It is district policy that ALL student medication be picked up by an adult at the end of the school year. Any medication that is left after June 16th will be discarded. Thank you!
Summer Program Updates:
