Mission: Inspiring a diverse school community to be passionate and empathetic learners.

Thank you
Peer Observation
Please remember that peer observations for "Continuum of Responses to Inappropriate Behavior" should be completed by the end of next week. So far we have only received 8 observation forms. If you have completed your form, please be sure to turn it in to the yellow envelope by the mailboxes. We review this data at our Teaching Subcommittee Meetings to help us plan for future Professional Development presentations. If you need coverage for your classroom, please contact Lenayn or Donna so they can read a book to your class while you go observe. There are extra observation forms by the mailboxes as well.
Thanks! Have a great weekend!

January 17 - ER Staff Meeting - 6 classroom strategies and peer observations
Acknowledge inappropriate behavior every time. This doesn't mean that everything has to be written up as a minor or a major, but inappropriate behavior cannot be ignored!
Major Office Referrals
PD during prep time
If you are given the opportunity for prep time make-up, it's completely ok to switch up your lesson plans and allow your students time on Lexia or Dreambox or MyOn. I know that Jen works really hard to give as much notice as possible, but sometimes there just isn't much advance notice. Let me know if you have any questions.
