A Message From The Principal

Dear CKS Families,

What a fabulous Halloween! Thank you to the parent volunteers who lined the upper playground with decorated, treat-filled vehicles! We have to make this a permanent Halloween celebratory parade and trick-or-treat experience. Nothing is better than happy, smiling children, teachers, and parents together. The best of CKS spirit filled the air!

Now we’re ready for a busy time of the year: parent/teacher conferences, Thanksgiving baskets, followed by pre-Christmas events.

HONORING SERVICE MEMEBERS PROJECT - DUE TUESDAY

CKS would like to use this Veterans holiday to honor anyone in our community who has served our country or is currently serving. Students will be coming home with a small packet of hearts. Please help your child fill out the information on the hearts and then return them to CKS. We would love to have the hearts returned to school by Tuesday, November 8th to have them to display on Veterans Day. You can request more copies in the office or email Natalie Byrne at nbyrne@cksvt.org.

Christ the King School Open House November 2nd at 8:45 AM

Christ the King School in Burlington, a Catholic school serving learners of all faiths from 3 years old through 8th grade, will host an in-person Open House on Wednesday, November 2nd, starting at 8:45 AM. Join us to meet our school leadership, teachers, and discover what makes CKS such a special place. Registration is required and can be found on the event page below.

At CKS we encourage our students to discover and develop their God-given gifts and to become people of character with a love for learning and a zest for life. Our comprehensive curriculum focuses on the development of the whole child; body, mind, and spirit. If you have a 2, 3, or 4-year-old (and especially those looking for a Kindergarten placement for next year), now is the time to explore if a school-based program is a right fit for your family. RSVP at http://www.cksvt.org/open-house or by contacting admissions@cksvt.org or calling 862-6696. Find us online at http://www.cksvt.org or on Facebook and Instagram by searching for CKSVT.
