We will be following a 6-day cycle again for school this year. Your child's special schedule will be based on the cycle days rather than days of the week. Below are the cycle days for the next two weeks.

Annual Student Information Verification (ASIV) Reopening
District has reopened the Infinite Campus Parent Portal for updates from parents and guardians who have not have a completed ASIV (Annual Student Information Verification) for the 2023-2024 school year. The portal will remain open until Friday, September 29th.
Technology Usage Fee Letter
Please return your child's (grades 2-5) technology form/payment if you have not done so. Below is the form. Thank you.
Parents are invited to come to the school to meet with Mr. Rohn and the PTCA. The purpose of these meetings are to learn about what the PTCA is doing to help our students and to hear updates on school issues from Mr. Rohn. It is a great way to have your voice heard. Similar types of meetings will take place in the evening during our PTCA general meetings.

FID (Flexible Instruction Days)
BASD has the ability to utilize one snow day and 5 flexible instruction days throughout the school year in the event that inclement weather or other emergency school closing. Your child’s teacher will review these directions with your child early next week. In the event of an unexpected school closing, the district message will define what type of day is being used. Digital and paper/pencil options will be provided. If a student cannot access the Internet or paper copies of the learning activities, he/she will have three (3) school days to complete the assignments. Any student who fails to complete their FID assignment within three school days will be marked as absent.

AM Kindergarten session will be from 8:45-10:35 AM. PM Kindergarten session will be from 10:35 AM-12:25 PM. Grades 1 thru 5 will be 8:45 AM - 12:25 PM.

From the Nurse's Desk - September
Below you will find information regarding health room procedures. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the health room nurses at 610-473-1770.
Physical & Dental Forms: All state mandated Kindergarten and 3rd grade private dental forms and all Kindergarten private physical exam forms are due now. If you have an upcoming appointment, please notify the health room of the appointment and we will make note of the date in your child’s record.
Medication Information: If your child requires prescription or over-the-counter medication while at school, a medication authorization form (found on the BASD website) must be completed by your physician. Once completed, please submit the paperwork, and then contact the health room to schedule an appointment to drop off your child’s medication. Prescription medications must be in an original pharmacy labeled container. Over-the-counter medication must be in original packaging. Please refer to the BASD website for more information.
Returning Paperwork: Please return any health room forms (Physical, Dental, Medication) via email if possible. You can scan and email the original document or email a photograph from your phone to either firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
Change of Clothing: Please consider keeping a change of clothing in your child’s backpack. Clothing can become soiled due to a bathroom accident, fall outside in the mud, or because of spilling food/drink. The health room may not have appropriately sized clothing, so if your child does have an accident of any sort, a parent will be called to bring clothing in for the child.

We are pleased to announce we now offer snacks at lunch.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday we offer ice cream, capri sun and water.
Tuesday and Thursday we offer popcorn, cookies, capri sun and water.
The student must have money in their account to purchase a snack.
Money can be added through EZschoolpay.com or you can send a check or money in with your child in a labeled envelope.
Snack prices are as follows:
Cookie, Popcorn, Capri Sun = $0.85
Water = $0.75
Ice Cream = $1.00
Milk (if purchased a la carte) = $0.65
