Lt. Brian Hubert Harrison
Choosing to bring dreams back to America
Believe in the American Dream
- National Defense- Our national defense is headed in the right directions. We feel that we cannot afford to cut back on the amount of defense mechanisms due to the fact that we want our citizens to always be safe and secured no matter the circumstances. However, we will not proceed to demand further additions to the defense department. We will operate as the need arises, because adding to our national defense will also increase our debt to an even higher deficit.
- Progressive Tax- Our party wants to keep the same taxation rate, however we want a larger portion of it to go directly to a mandated debt budget, that way we can raise our economy. The amount that is given to government officials should be cut for this same purpose. We also believe that 40% is the highest amount of taxation you can take from an income. This means the income would have to be probably above two million. To even out the playing field, we would give less tax return to lower class incomes.
- Death Penalty- We believe in the death penalty, depending on crime severity and if red handed evidence is a factor, we want to shorten the sentences because we are wasting money on the life sentences, when we can terminate the case after the final verdict in less amount of time. This will also open up more room and abolish harsh criminals.
- High Stakes Testing in School- High Stakes testing in school takes away from their learning experience. If some teachers only focus on that subject that they need to learn for the test they might not learn other valuable information. We believe that students should be tested every grading period over the material the teacher has taught them. School should also be focused on college readiness and life lessons.
