Attention Parent Volunteers / Chaperones

SASD Community Volunteer Guidelines require Program Volunteers to receive a PPD (TB) skin test for tuberculosis. Chaperoning a field trip falls under this category. Currently Mrs. Bealer, our school nurse, has 6 tests remaining to be administered in her office.

Please contact Mrs. Bealer to make an appointment. Hours are 8:30 am to 11:45 am or 1:30 pm to 3:15 pm. She can be reached at 610-287-9197, option 2.

The Book worms were out...PrimeTime Reading was a hit!

PrimeTime reading was enjoyed by over 50 3rd, 4th and 5th graders on Friday, October 27th! Everyone enjoyed catching up on a good book, but also playing some fun games centered around literacy. All grades enjoyed a few active rounds of Scrabble Scramble in the gym. Everyone racked their brain to come up with scattergories. 3rd and 4th grades were challenged to an exciting Jeopardy round which had them trying to remember books, characters and authors. 4th graders were able to play against their parents!

And, our fifth graders celebrated their last PrimeTime winning valuable prizes in what may be the most exciting game show ever!

We are so grateful to Mrs. Connery, Mrs. Ehst, Mrs. Mamzic, Mrs. Ruth & Mr. Sinkinson for being willing to help out at our event.

Keep a watch out for K-2nd Grade PrimeTime Reading event happening February 9, 2018 from 6:30 - 8:30pm
