I Will Go and Do
What's Happening in Indiana
January
As I have pondered on all that could happen in 2016, I get excited for the new challenges and adventures that lay ahead.

As most of you know, we stayed in Indiana for Christmas this year. We wanted to try just one Christmas without all the hustle and bustle. We learned that it's nice both ways. We spent Christmas eve with some friends that don't have family out here. We shared our favorite Christmas memory from the past. Every single one of our kids said last Christmas was their favorite! Christmas day was great Emmy woke really early (3am) and then Mckay woke at 4am, they let Harry sleep till 5. We made them wait till 6. We had a gourmet breakfast, which basically means, everyone's favorites. The day passed with us playing games, putting Lego's sets together we finished the day with watching Inside out ( we had alot of those same emotions) Inside out is a Pixar movie, it about a girl who has to move far away.
January
It has been a hard month. There has been very little sun. Which takes a toll on me. People hear think the sun is out alot. Utah has over 300 cloudless days. North West Indiana has 75. I have come to the conclusion that, if you were raised here your body has adjusted. I take vitamin D pills, Life is always better with the Sun!
I had the privilege of speaking in church. I was supposed to take 15 min. I didn't, I took 7 min. Whoops! I Had 4 pages and I talked fast, because I do that when I'm nervous. The guy after me didn't take 15 min either. Poor Bishop who had to take the rest of the time. But it worked out he had somethings he wanted to let the ward know. "Start time and Arrival time are two separate times." "The Chapel is a place for worship not a place to catch up with your friends." "He asked everyone to turn off their electronic devices."
The Highlight for this month, is Knowing that this is the Last January I will spend in Indiana!
Here is the story of last Christmas
Christmas Money =Gas Money =Best Christmas Ever!
Last Christmas was to be our first Christmas away from home. We were all Really home sick. We had a family meeting and discuss what we could do. Going home was what they came up with. Small problem no money for gas. Our parents were giving us money for Christmas to buy the kids a gift. Charlie came up with the idea to use the Christmas money for gas. I explained to him that would mean no gifts. Mckay said "being able to play with my friends and cousins again would be the best Christmas present ever." Everyone jump on board, even little Harry. Harry's only concern was that Santa would be able to find him. They sacrifice their gifts to spend time with the ones they love. The story does not end there. Family and friends heard of the kids sacrifice and bought gifts for them and donated money. Christmas morning they were so surprised to have something under the tree. Mckay says how is this possible when we used the money for gas. We explained what a Secret Santa was. How someone else had sacrificed to give them gifts.
