News to know...
There has not been a day in 13 years where I did not think Stoller was an exceptional learning community. I have been most fortunate to have been working with you - such an outstanding group of families. I have appreciated how much you value education and have supported me as well as the Stoller staff over the years. However – there comes a time for one to announce retirement. That time for me is now. I am retiring.
I am going to miss being Stoller's principal. It has been an honor and privilege to serve you and your students.
I am looking forward to traveling - imagine - any time of the year – and not locked into a particular calendar.
Stoller is a gem in our community, and I know it will continue to be an exemplary school! Keep up the good work; you've been wonderful to work with - thank you.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Richey

Math Placement
Stoller is proud of the many math accomplishments of our students. We believe a rich, solid foundation in mathematics is the basis for math success. Our teachers work hard to make the best placement decisions for students each Spring. At the same time, we realize that some students may find outside experiences that significantly impact conceptual understanding and skill over the summer. If you believe your student falls into one of these categories, further assessment may be appropriate.
- 7th and 8th grade students who were forecasted to repeat a course and have worked to learn necessary material are eligible to test over the course already taken. Successful students move on to the next level.
- 7th and 8th grade students who have done significant study since June may be eligible for further assessment.
Please use this link to check minimum requirements and sign students up for testing if applicable.
If there are any questions please contact Mariah McCarty.

No Jump Start Next Year
Stoller Families and Community,
Stoller has made the decision to cancel Jump Start in August this year based on the following reasons:
All back-to-school documents are now online.
All fee payments are now online.
The yearly process to verifying all student information is now online.
We are handing out Chromebooks the first week of school similar to the way textbooks used to be distributed.
School pictures will be taken during the school day within the first few weeks of school. Students will still receive an ID card at the time pictures are taken.

Important Volunteer Reminders
Last Reminder...
Volunteers are an important part of the WE in the District’s goal of WE empower all students to achieve post-high school success.
As a reminder, for the safety and welfare of students and staff, ALL volunteer activities must be coordinated and tracked through myvolunteerpage.com, the District’s online volunteer management system. The use of Goggle calendars, or any other on-line sign up program (i.e. Volunteer Spot or SignupGenius) is prohibited.
Volunteers must sign in and sign out through the volunteer computer located in the school front office.
To use the computer sign in, volunteers need the username and password they created for the Volunteer and Background Check Application process. If a volunteer needs to retrieve, or reset either of these, they should login to myvolunteerpage.com and click on the “Forgot Username or Password” link. The username and a temporary password will be emailed to them. The volunteer should create a new permanent password, by clicking on the “My Profile” tab on the myvolunteerpage.com home page. Usernames and passwords can be the same. Volunteers should write these down and save for future use.
Myvolunteerpage profiles are NOT linked to student information and will not follow volunteers to a new location. In preparation for the 18/19 school year, please ask volunteers to send an email to update_volunteer_locations@beaverton.k12.or.us if their student will be moving to a different school.
If a volunteer is no longer volunteering, please have them email update_volunteer_locations@beaverton.k12.or.us and indicate that they would like to remove their profile from the system.
