WOLF PACK NEWSLETTER

September 2020

Principal Address

Welcome Back, Wolf Pack Families! This is our very 1st official family newsletter for the school year! You will be receiving a TAF@SGH newsletter from our office at least 1x per month. It is important to us that you are updated on all of the latest information that will support and enhance your scholar’s learning journey within the wolf pack! Thank you so much for your continued patience and grace as we start the new school year. Our office staff, teachers, custodians, counselors, and administrators are so happy that each and every one of you is back and apart of the pack. Please remember that we are ALL here to serve and support you!

Families, I need your help! A concern has come up regarding unauthorized scholars entering zoom classes. This behavior is disruptive to our overall learning environment and does not meet our POWER expectations of RESPECT and OWNERSHIP. To help to deter these types of incidents in the future, there are a couple of things that we would like to remind our wolfpack scholars. Please speak with your scholar(s) about these important guidelines:

  • ALL scholars must adhere to the remote learning behavior expectations at ALL times!
  • Scholars SHOULD NOT give out their username and password to anyone.
  • To enter zoom classes, students must have their first and last name entered to be allowed in by their teachers.
  • Scholars must log-in to launchpad and use the canvas app within launchpad to access classes.
  • Scholars who do not appropriately identify themselves (full name) may not be admitted to class.
  • Zoom meetings (audio and chat) may be recorded.

Thank you for helping us keep or zoom classes safe and appropriate! Remember, it is and always is, a wonderful day to be a wolf in the wolfpack! Have wonderful wolfpack weekend!
