Last month we mentioned the use of wordless pictures books to encourage students making predictions/inferences on what the text is telling us.
This month we would like to share a video you can show your students and use as a writing/reading mini lesson.
The Children's Tree is a great video that shows imagination, determination, and thinking outside of the box. The students can stop and make predictions, create a story based on the video, create an alternate ending. What I love about using wordless text and media is that you can use in bilingual and monolingual classes as well.
