Please mark your calendar for October 21 our Annual Fall Festival. If you are interested in joining our PTA, please contact our current PTA president for more information.

Parents many students were issued their devices please help us with reminding the students that their devices are to be used for academic purposes only. We are finding that many students are taking pictures, recoding videos and playing games on their devices. Please take the time to check your child’s device to ensure that they are properly using his/her device. We are not able to replace chargers at this time so if your child did not return a charger last year or have lost their charger this school year, we will not be able to replace it at this time. It will need to be replaced by the parent or guardian.

One cards all students in grades first through fifth that were issued a One Card must bring their One Card to school daily. If the student does not have their issued One Card it will need to be replaced. A new One Card cost five dollars each time it is lost.

Parents remember our safety protocols include that parents are not allowed to enter the building during our morning drop off and afternoon pick up times. When only students enter the building during these times, we can keep a laser focus eye on the children which allows us to be more equipped to recognize any potential suspicious activity. We welcome you to contact the school and/or your child’s teacher to schedule 15-minute classroom visits and meetings. Parents are not allowed to eat lunch with students as of right now we are just now transitioning back to eating in the cafeteria. We are teaching our children the cafeteria expectations.

School dismissal will begin at 2:13, instruction ends at 2:10 pm. Please make sure you have photo ID with you each time you need to pick your child up early for appointment and emergencies which is before 1:45 pm

We thank you so much for all that you do! Remember it is always a Great Day to Be a Brightwood Tiger! Have a wonderful evening remember to be amazing, because you are Amazing.

Love Always Your Proud Principal
