SVMS Spring Update
Get Your Vote On! Don't forget to vote April 3rd!
Responding to the need for additional learning space, safety and security upgrades, and maintenance of existing facility needs, the Liberty School District Board of Education voted unanimously on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, to place a $49 million no-tax-increase bond issue on the April 3, 2018, ballot.
This bond is so important to our district and we would love if everyone would get out and let their opinion be known!
Not sure what it's all about? Check this out: https://www.lps53.org/bondinformation. It will take you right to a page to explain it all.
And then get out and vote! Every vote counts so grab your friends, partners, and neighbors and bring them to the polling station with you!
STUCO Spring Mixer, Thursday April 19th. And they need your help!
If you think you can help please email Ms. Paddock at brittany.paddock@lps53.org or Lori Hillman at ljc3162@hotmail.com.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give them!
Teacher Appreciation Week, April 30-May 4th
We will be providing all kinds of goodies for Teacher appreciation week. We will start out with a popcorn bar for them on Monday, move on to a dessert bar for them on Tuesday, woo them with a breakfast bar on Wednesday, celebrate them by providing a chip and dip day on Thursday and finally gift them with a Movie Night giveaway on Friday! Please see the sign up genius for any way that you can help out this week. We totally appreciate any help you can give and could not make this week as amazing without you!
Last SVMS Restaurant night is May 3rd at Cici's!
Thanks for helping out your Eagles!
Buses, and Field Trips and Adventures-oh my!
We are one of the only middle schools in the district that provide this opportunity to our students. We could not do it without the support of our parents so-THANK YOU!
Thank you notes, take two! And Favorites lists!
We are thankful for our amazing parents who support us through teacher's conferences, the Color Run, and through our various volunteer opportunities that come up.
We are thankful for our dedicated and devoted staff and administration who make our experience at SVMS the best. They have offered support to our students and education to the families.
Especially when we think of them planning, organizing, and implementing curriculum to get our almost 800 students out of the school for field trips. That's a lot of buses, and a lot of bodies!
If you have a staff member or administration member that has gone that extra mile or that you would like to thank please feel free to drop them a thankful card sometime in the month of November. We'll have a can available for thank you card drop off on Mrs. Kroge's old desk. Your kiddo can drop in in the can as they go by and we'll be sure that it makes it to the right person. A word of thanks goes a long way! The can will make it's appearance the last week of April through Teacher Appreciation week.

Also, check out these two items if you are interested in treating a particular teacher. Most have filled out a form about their Favorites that can be found here:
