When we return from Christmas break we will begin our unit on Architecture and Engineering. Students will be researching one of the top colleges that both degree fields, learning new vocabulary that pertains to the profession, and listening to a talk given by our special guest speakers from the firm Huitt and Zollars out of Dallas. We will also continue work on our grammar and writing skills.

Continue “Get Mooned” Unit over Seasons, Lunar Cycle, and Tides. Students will work on creating their final products using three parts of STEAM. Products are individual and are due January 9. Test Friday, January 6 over 8.7ABC.

If your student is in need of a new sketchbook, be sure to purchase one over break. We use these daily!
Beginning Band ~ Mr. Sypert
Students are preparing for the BISD Middle School Solo Contest which will be held at Kerr MS on Saturday January 21st. Specific times for each student will be shared as soon as they are available. Please plan on reserving about an hour of your Saturday to have your student at Kerr MS so that they may participate.
Videos will resume next week January 9-13 with a recording of the first half of the student’s solo.
