Fashion Blog :)

ABOUT THE WRITER

Hello! My name is Audrey and I'm a middle school-er taking a fashion class to learn a little more about different era's, fashion fads, and learn how to make a few things on my own. This blog will show you a little bit about some of the things I have learned and some cool sewing projects you can do yourself! Enjoy!! :)

DIFFERENT FASHION FADS!!

TIP: MAKE SURE TO BACK-STITCH WHEN SEWING ON A SEWING MACHINE OR ELSE THE WHOLE PROJECT WILL COME UNDONE!!

SKETCHING!!

When sketching an outfit, a good idea is to draw very lightly in PENCIL because most pens dont erase and if you draw too hard, the pencil wont erase!!

DID YOU KNOW...

Depending on the color of your room, it can change your mood? If your room is..

Red: stimulates a faster heartbeat, color of love (extreme color)

Orange: excitement, enthusiasm (increases energy, like red)

Yellow: people often lose their temper more in yellow rooms, enhances concentration (attention grabber)

Green: symbolizes nature, calming and refreshing color (can help improve vision)

Blue: peaceful color, produces calming chemicals, can also be cold and depressing (helps productiveness)

Purple: royalty, sophistication (can appear artificial)

Brown: reliable, color of earth (can be sad, also)

Black: authority, power, timeless (makes people appear thinner)

Pink: most romantic color (teams will sometimes paint their opponents locker room pink to make the other team lose energy)

White: represents innocence, popular because its light and bright (when it reflects off of light, its considered a summer color)

ADVERTISING!

If you are planning on selling items, make sure to include information about the item and make the poster/flyer colorful so anyone from far away can notice its there!!
