Claires Court Bulletin
NURSERY AND GIRLS
NEWS FROM THE HEADS
It is the morning of the Thursday 10th... its 8.45am.. and we are coming alive again as pupils and students from Reception to Year 13 stream through the doors - and it brilliant to have them back.
Despite the buzz of Holiday Club and the sounds of builders’ drills, saws and hammers over the summer vacation a school is a bit of an empty shell without its main players. We have had some tasters to whet our appetite - Sixth Form registration on Monday and Year 12 induction on Wednesday, along with all of our new Year 7s. Our Year 7 intake, the highest for many years, were the centre of attention during their induction day and it was a happy throng that met for a cup of tea with parents and staff at the end of the day. The new academic year has got off to a wonderful start with children coming in with smiling faces and full of chatter about their holidays. We have welcomed lots of new children into the three nursery rooms and are pleased to say how well they are settling in. The Transition class children are having a great time too and have had no problems transferring from their nursery rooms. They are showing great kindness to their new friends who have just started at Claires Court. Read more >>>

Report Reply Slips
Remember to return the signed Report Reply Slip to confirm that you have seen your daughter's report from the end of last term - thank you.
Please can parents avoid parking on the double yellow lines within the school grounds and not park in the designated disabled parking bays unless you are a blue badge holder. We understand the problem of lack of parking spaces available but the yellow lines means free flow of traffic in and out of our premises and also prevents accidents.
Individual School Photos
A reminder, if parents would like their daughters photographed in a family group please email Mrs Phipps (firstname.lastname@example.org) in the School Office by Wednesday 16 September before 12noon please. These family groups are scheduled in advance to minimise disruption to lessons and so requests for family groups made on the day will not be possible.
Invitations have been sent out for Speech Day, please RSVP here if you haven't already done so. Thank you.
