Notes from Mrs. JP
It is hard to believe that the 2017-2018 school year has come to an end! I am so proud of all the hard work our staff and students have put into this year! We have certainly learned with passion, led with confidence and lived with character. As this year comes to a close we are already working to plan for summer and fall opportunities and events. This summer, FES will open our library doors on select Wednesdays as we continue to encourage the importance of literacy skills for our students. I encourage families to take advantage of our summer library hours. Look for details in this newsletter. As is tradition, we will welcome our new students at our annual Falmouth Fling which is tentatively set for August 23rd. We will be hosting packet pick-up and fall photos similarly to last year and the expected first date of packet pick-up is Monday, August 27th. Be on the lookout for more information over the summer. Please be sure to update address and phone numbers as this is the means we will use to communicate with you as changes occur. Have a wonderful and safe summer!
Ms. Johnakin-Putnam (Ms. JP)

Back To School Forms
Dear Parents and Guardians: During the 2018-2019 school year, Stafford County Public Schools will place all Back to School forms on the division’s website and in ParentVue as a continued effort to move to a more paperless organization. In July, parents can access ParentVue for the options and acknowledgements. If you do not currently have a ParentVue account, please contact your student(s) school to obtain information and credentials to create one.
Parents can use a computer at Falmouth Elem school in the front office. County libraries are also a useful resource for access to computers and the internet. The school will have limited print copies for those who can not fill in the online forms. Please contact Digital Communication Development Manager Zack Flanagan in the Office of Strategic Communication and Community Engagement at flanaganzt@staffordschools.net with any questions about the Back to School forms online. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

We want to let you know that we will be completing one final community service project for the year with the Fredericksburg SPCA. We are collecting donations for
this organization until June 11th. Please consider donating some of the items below! Collection boxes will be outside the front office. Please contact Mrs. Smith (smithjd1@staffordschools.net) if you have any questions!

Bus Assignment Forms
Additional bus assignment forms MUST be filled out each school year. The required form to be completed is attached to this newsletter. Bus routes are assigned based on
the home street address. Since bus drivers and routes may vary from year to year, it is important to have the most current information, even if the daycare provider is the same as the previous year. We sincerelyappreciate your cooperation with this.
